The challenge
Affo is an elevated take on the classic coffee syrup, reimagined for contemporary tastes. The brand challenge was changing perception about coffee syrup. Historically it is a low brow, high sugar product. Our brief was to create something that felt playful and nostalgic, while taking coffee syrup to a more sophisticated, foodie level for a modern audience.

Process
Our brand strategy was to position Affo as a premium product for coffee lovers, espresso enthusiasts, and curious condiment collectors who stock their shelves with beautiful, innovative packaging design.

Solution
To achieve our brand goals, we developed a hand drawn custom logotype, paired with bespoke illustrations to tell the brand story. The rich palette of dark espresso, deep red, and luxurious cream brings warmth, indulgence, and depth to the identity.
