Ulysses Design Co was brought on board to create a visual identity and brand system that the Burden of Proof team could take and run with.

Process
After a thorough discovery of the Burden of Proof purpose, voice, target demographic, and competition, our goal was to create an identity system that felt elevated, curated, yet still down to earth and humble. The identity appeals to the sober curious, the sober serious and all in between.

Solution
To achieve Burden Of Proof’s desired brand identity, we crafted a hand-drawn logotype and graphic icons that personify the brand's welcoming, authentic, and down-to-earth nature. We drew inspiration from old general store’s and their nostalgic shop front slogans. With big, bold, blocky, hand painted style types and vintage signage colour palette the Burden Of Proof modern yet timeless brand identity was born.
