Objective

How we used nostalgic beer branding to create a contemporary beverage brand. Tomiris is a Kvass-based non-alcoholic drink. What is Kvass, I hear you say? A sparkling, fermented, non alcoholic beverage. It's delicious, trust us. The brand challenge for Tomiris was to introduce an unfamiliar product to the rigid Western market. To create something more relatable for the target audience, we made it look visually like something that everyone knows and loves: beer.

Results

The result is an all-American, alternative to beer brand for the Sober Curious.

Solution

We created a hand-drawn logo and vintage beer crest inspired packaging system, featuring a brand mark based on Queen Tomiris. The identity is tied together with a crisp colour palette of navy, deep red, and white.
